Sometimes it can be useful not to display your own phone number when making calls. The other party then displays an anonymous call.

If you make calls with a suppressed number, it is still possible for authorities and providers to find out your identity.

Permanent number suppression

1. Open the phone settings

First, please go to my.easybell.

There, please click on “Phone Settings” in the left-hand menu bar.

Alternatively, you can also click on “Manage Phone Numbers” directly in the my.easybell dashboard.

2. Details öffnen

Do you have a private customer plan? If so, please click on “Private”!

The phone settings for businesses are divided into two tabs: Connections and Phone Numbers.

In the Connection Overview, please click on the connection whose details you wish to view.

You will see an overview of your telephone numbers.

Please click on the one whose details you wish to view.

3. Konfiguration aufrufen

In the details view, you will see an overview of the settings.

Please scroll to the "Configuration" section and click the "Change" button to the right of it.

4. suppress phone number

Now scroll down to the section “Caller ID (CLIP)”.

Here, select “Supress phone number” and click “Apply”.

Note: The caller’s number is not hidden when calls are forwarded.

Case-by-case number suppression

For case-by-case number suppression, dial *31* before the number you want to reach. This code does not work with all end devices.

With FRITZ! boxes, you must dial *31# instead.
